JAMMU: Five days Shri Kaal Bhairav Ashtami Mahaotsav has been reduced to one day this year due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic but decoration of Shri Kaal Bhairav Mandir and its adjoining markets will be made on the pattern of last year Mahaotsav. It was informed by Pandit Rumil Sharma in a press conference, held here on Thursday. While interacting with media person, Pandit Rumil Sharma informed that on December 7, the door the Temple would be opened early morning for devotees to pray, followed by 13 Pandits will offer special prayer of Lord Shiva by chanting Vedic Mantras. “on the same, Brahamin puja, Jangam puja as well as Batuk puja will also performed on the pattern of early year, wherein devotees and managements of the Trust will pray of Lord Shiva by chanting special mantras for the safeguarding of people from Coronavirus and will also pray for peace, prosperity and development in the JK UT,” he added.
