Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting held by Ganderbal Police

April 07: As a part of public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held by Ganderbal Police at Chattargul while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Kangan Shri Yasir Qadri-JKPS and SHO PS Kangan. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens & Traders Association Kangan.

During the meeting, the participants highlighted various issues of public importance including drug menace, traffic jams, etc. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.

While speaking on the occasion, SDPO Kangan said that such meetings are conducted to solicit the suggestions and support for better policing and would be conducted in future as well. He also requested the participants to cooperate with the Police on every front so that the crime is eradicated within the society.

The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely.
