Implement Inter-Religious Marriage Act on the Lines of UP : Vikrant Kapoor Strongly criticizing the kidnapping of two Sikh girls in Kashmir valley at gun point and make their Nikah with aged persons, Vikrant Kapoor President of Hindustan Shiv Sena urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to Ensure safety of minorities Sikh & hindu the valley. Along with this, he also demanded the implementation of Inter-Religious Marriage Act in Jammu and Kashmir UT on the lines of UP and Madhya Pradesh.State President of Hindustan Shiv Sena Vikrant Kapoor said this while addressing a press conference here today in Jammu. He said that if strict action is not taken against those who do such abominable act, then it may worsen the situation in Jammu and UT administration will be solely responsible for this. He also urged the Lieutenant Governor to ensure the protection of the rights of minority community women in the Kashmir Valley.Emphasizing on the implementation of the Inter-Religious Marriage Act in the Jammu and Kashmir UT, Vikrant Kapoor said that it requires the permission of the parents and the court. Targeting Muslim fundamentalists, he said that efforts are being made once again to drive away minorities in Kashmir Valley by intimidating them like Kashmiri Pandits were driven away from Kashmir Valley. Vikrant Kapoor urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to understand the seriousness of the matter and take concrete steps immediately and take strict action against the culprits. He has warned that if the government does not take strict action against the culprits, then Hindustan Shiv Sena will protest against it on a large scale and the government will be solely responsible for the situation arising out of it.Senior leaders of Hindustan Shiv Sena Sunil Dabgotra, Anup Trikha, Bawa Ram Kath, Abhishek, Himanshu, Amit, women’s wing leaders Sapna Kohli, joty devi and others were also present in the press conference.
