Amid Burglary worth Lakhs from Mobile Shops, Kupwara Police Registers Case

    Kupwara , July 16: The North Kashmir’s Kupwara police on Friday registered a case after burglars allegedly looted cell-phones and accessories worth lakhs of rupees from a mobile shop in Kralpora area of the district. Sources told Current News Service that one Gowhar Ahmed Tanzoo, a resident of Kralpora Kupwara, who runs a shop namely ‘Gowhar Electronics’ said that burglars looted mobile phones from his shop worth Rs 7 to 8 lakhs during the intervening night of Thursday-Friday and added that Kralpora police station registered a case in this regard.Meanwhile police took cognizance of the complaint, registered a case and started the investigation. Traders Union Kupwara has expressed resentment over the frequent incidents of burglary and stressed to arrest the culprits on immediate basis.
