The Publish NewsHomeStateNationalInternationalBusinessSportsEditorialLifestyle & EntertainmentTP Exclusive VideosTP EpaperBreaking NewsJ&K reports 129 new COVID cases no covid deaths in the last 24 hoursFull dress rehearsal for 75th I-Day celebration held at JammuJK to be brought on world tourism map: Advisor Baseer KhanMOS Jitendra Singh condemns terror attack on party worker in RajouriDr Jitendra Singh visits registration camp for Kashmiri Migrants at J&K House, New Delhi’ACS reviews status of implementation of ECRP-II & Oxygen Generation Plants under PM Cares at Srinagar’STATEACS reviews status of implementation of ECRP-II & Oxygen Generation Plants under PM Cares at SrinagarBy: TP News Date: 8/14/2021 10:12:23 AMSrinagar:Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo, today chaired a high level meeting to review the status of implementation of ‘Emergency COVID-19 Response Package (ECRP)- II & Oxygen Generation Plants under PM cares Fund at Civil Secretariat here.Speaking during the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, impressed upon the officers to gear up their efforts and utilise all the available resources under ECRP to mitigate the impact of possible third wave of COVID-19.He directed the officers to utilise the resources available under Emergency Covid Response Package (ECRP) effectively so that the health infrastructure is revamped across Jammu and Kashmir to its maximum potential.While highlighting that there is a need to upgrade paediatric health care, Atal Dulloo stressed upon the officers that oxygen supported Paediatric Wards , Paediatric ICUs, Maternity ICUs and Hybrid wards should be made functional in all District Hospitals & Associated Hospitals of New Medical Colleges at the earliest.He asked the Principals of Govt Medical Colleges Jammu & Srinagar to establish the Centre of Excellence in Paediatrics one each at Jammu and Srinagar at earliest for the advanced medical care facilities.While reviewing other infrastructural facilities related to COVID-19, Atal Dulloo directed the officers that the additional 10 RTPCR testing labs and 2 Mobile Testing Vans should be established so that the testing capacity is increased across J&K.Additional Chief Secretary also directed the concerned officers that retrofitting of additional ambulances should be done for which Director Health Services Jammu & Kashmir were asked to identify the ambulances.Highlighting the need of capacity building and training of health workers, the Mission Director, NHM was asked to start fellowship training programmes for the doctors of the J&K in collaboration with PGI Chandigarh and AIIMS, New Delhi.Mission Director, NHM, Yasin Choudhary gave a detailed presentation on COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health Systems Preparedness Package Phase-II .Progress and status of installation of Oxygen Generation Plants approved under PM Cares Fund was also reviewed in the meeting .Atal Dulloo directed the Chief Engineers MED of both divisions to complete the process of installation of all approved Oxygen Generation plants at an earliest and take measure on war footing for establishment of new Liquid Medical Oxygen plants.Director SKIMS, Soura, Principal GMC Srinagar, Principal GMC Jammu, Managing Director, JK Medical Supplies Corporation, Director Health Services Jammu, Director Health Services Kashmir, Chief Engineer, MED Kashmir, Chief Engineer MED, Jammu, Principals of newly established Medical Colleges of Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Rajouri, Kathua and Doda, CMOs of all districts, Medical Superintendents of all district hospitals and other concerned officials participated in the meeting in person and through video conferencing.
