Baramulla 19 Jan, : Tehsil administration Tangmarg in District Baramulla has clarified and refuted the allegations regarding issuance of warrant against Social Activist Adil Nazir for disturbing Public Peace u/s 107 of CrPC.Executive Magistrate Tangmarg Javid Ahamd told that a campaign has been launched on Social Media that one Mr Adil Nazir Khan resident ofKhaipora has been booked u/s 107 CrPC for being a threat to public peace and tranquility.It is to clarify that Adil Nazir Khan has been summoned through Police to attend this office in connection with a criminal case of exigent nature wherein a different person is the accused and Adil is his surety. As such, presence of Adil is needed in the said case for its timely disposal.The instant case has nothing to do with the socio-political activities being carried by the said person in public life.Meanwhile Some miscreants have been blowing the matter out of proportion apparently for sensationalisation or with the intention to disturb peace.Menawhile Executive Magistrate Tangmarg warned RumorMongers to desist from spreading fake news in the matter with malicious intent else they shall be strictly dealt as per the law.(CNS)
