Sopore, 11-Mar : A 65-year-old man who was injured in a road accident yesterday at Batingoo area of Sopore In Baramulla district succumbed to his injuries Friday morning in a Srinagar hospital, officials said.As per the officials, Abdul Malik Dar(65), son of Habibullah Dar a resident of Muqam was injured after being hit by a two-wheeler following which he was shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment.”The injured was undergoing treatment at Srinagar hospital since yesterday, where he breathed his last today,” they said.Meanwhile, after conducting the legal medical formalities, the body was handed over to his family for last rites.Police registered a case in this regard and further investigations have been initiated.(CNS)
