3 Medical Superintendents, 1 BMO attached for dereliction of duties

Issuing four separate orders, Government suspended two Medical Superintendents (MSs) and attached them to the office of the Director Health Services Jammu. Further, one MS and a Block Medical Officer (BMO) were also attached for dereliction of duties.“In view of dereliction of duties and pending enquiry into their conduct, Dr Mehmood Hussain Bajar (Medical Officer, looking after the charge of MS GMC Rajouri), Dr Mushtaq Hussain Shah (Medical Officer, looking after the charge of MS District Hospital Poonch) have been placed under suspension with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956,” said two separate orders issued by Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department.Further, two more orders issued separately by the H&ME Department said that Dr Muzaffar Ahmed Zargar (I/c MS District Hospital, Kulgam), and Dr Asima Nazir (I/c BMO Pampore) have been attached to the office of the Director Health Services Jammu, for dereliction of duties.“Consequent upon their attachment, Director Health Services Kashmir/Jammu shall assign the charge of these posts to senior most/eligible doctor immediately,” the orders read.
