CRPF man dies in Pulwama, Solider commits suicide in Srinagar

    Srinagar,15- Apr: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personal died in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday morning.He was identified as Head constable Mohan Singh of F/Coy 183 Battalion posted at Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Pulwama.An official said that Singh suddenly fell unconscious at place of his posting.”He was immediately rushed to district hospital Pulwama by his colleagues, where doctors declared him bought dead on arrival ” he said.He further added that the cause of death is being ascertained and the investigation in this regard has been taken up.Meanwhile, a soldier allegedly committed suicide in Srinagar outskirts, official sources said.Identified as Lance Naik Akash Kumar, officials said he ended his life at JAKLI Centre Rangreth Srinagar by shooting himself dead with his service weapon at around 2 a.m. midnight.“Inquest proceedings have been initiated under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) and further investigation is on”,they said.(CNS
