Budgam, 30-Apr: Acting tough against drug abuse and to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police on Saturday booked two drug peddlers under Public Safety Act(PSA) in Budgam.In A statement issued to Police spokesperson said that police in Budgam booked two notorious drug peddlers under PIT NDPS Act.Duo has been identified as Hilal Ahmed Mir (Hilal Galwan) son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir resident of Galwan Mohalla Mazhama and Zubair Ahmad Mir son of Bashir Ahmad Mir resident of Mazhama Magam. He further said that despite their involvement in many FIRs, the accused were promoting drug abuse trade by supplying drugs to local youth of district Budgam.Meanwhile, the duo drug peddlers have been lodged in District Jail Rajouri.(CNS)
