Swachhata Shapath, Cleanliness, Plantation Drives, awareness rallies being organised in schoolsKISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 06: The Swachhata Pakhwada being organised by School Education Department has gained momentum in district Kishtwar amid hosting of series of activities in the schools across the district.As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada, an Essay writing competition on COVID Appropriate Behaviour was today organised in all schools of the District to mark the designated Swachhata Participation Day.Earlier on the first day of the Swachhata Pakhwada, the Swachhata Pledge was administered to the teachers and the students in their respective schools which was followed by Swachhata Awareness Day, Community Outreach Day, Green School Drive Day and Swatchta Participation Day on the designated dates. Multifarious activities like Cleanliness drive, Plantation Drive and awareness rallies were conducted over all these days.Scores of students from primary to Senior secondary level Schools participated in these activities under the close supervision of the Head of their respective Institutions and under the overall supervision of Chief Education Officer (CEO), Sudarshan Kumar Sharma.These activities under Swachhata Pakhwada aim to instil the sense of cleanliness among the students and to develop among them the eco-friendly habits right from the tender age.All the teachers and HOIs have been directed to share and upload the photographs of the activities conducted during this Swatchhta Pakhwara with the Office of CEO Kishtwar through DNO Swatchhta Pakhwara Avni Sen so that wide publicity is given to activities as desired by higher ups.As per the activity calendar, the department is going to organise Handwash Day on Sept 8, 22, Personal Hygiene Day on Sept 10, 2022, Swacchata School Exhibition Day on Sept 12, 2022 , Swachhata Action Plan Days on Sept 13, 2022 , while the Prize Distribution Function would be held on 15th Sep 2022.
