Bhaderwah, 17-Nov; One day training cum awareness programme was organized by the Floriculture Department at Sartingal area of Bhaderwah in district Doda on commercial Floriculture, yesterday.Cluster co-ordinator along with 80 women who are working in self help groups participated in training programme.Pawan Kumar, Assistant Floriculture officer Doda awared them about cultivation of Marigold, lavender plantation, protected cultivation of High value cut flowers and establishment of lavender nurseries to get more returns than traditional farming.He said that in district Doda more than 350 farmers are cultivating Marigold every year and earning handsome money.
