Baramulla,29-Dec: Amid bone chilling cold, the residents of Pattan and adjoining areas of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district protest on Thursday against PDD for frequent unscheduled power cuts in the area while demanding action against the officials posted at grid station Pattan.As per reports to CNS, Traders and Locals of Pattan town assembled on Srinagar Baramulla National Highway and Protest against the AEE and other officials of Grid Station Nihalpora Pattan for harassing People of Pattan by Unscheduled Power Cuts to Receiving Station Pattan.Protesters alleged that AEE Grid Station Pattan is deliberately and Unnecessarily Cutting power supply to Receiving Station Pattan by which Pattan town is facing double Curtailment.“There is totally Lawlessness and Mis-Management in Grid Station Pattan as every Employee is working there as per his own Choice without following the Curtailment Schedule due to which general public is badly Suffering, There should be Coordination between Grid & Receiving Station Pattan”,they said.
