Ganderbal,23-Feb: Senior Political Leader and Former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Thursday visited Rezan Ganderbal where several residential houses and cowsheds were damaged due a massive mudslide on Sunday evening.Sheikh was accompanied by DDC Wakura Mohd Ashraf , DDC Ganderbal Molvi Mohd Yousuf, BDC Wakura Gh Mohd Malla, Socio-political activists Gh Mohidin Kasana, Ab Ahad Barwali, Manzoor Ahmad Kullan, Sarpanch Hayan Showkat Ahmad and others.Jabbar visited the families and interacted with them. The families whose houses were damaged in the landslides demanded their rehabilitation.”We have become homeless. We demand immediate relocation to some safer place. We have no source of income to construct new house. We appeal to the authorities to provide us monetary help to rebuild our homes,” , they demanded.
