Baramulla, 01-Mar: A special drive has been launched by the police against drug abuse across the Baramulla district. In it, within two months 58 persons were arrested and 40 FIRs were registered under the NDPS Act.SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpuri (IPS) While talking to CNS said that Baramulla Police has Started a Special Drive against Drug Mafia across District during which 58 Notorious Drug Peddler’s from different areas of District Baramulla have been arrested along with different types of Banned Drugs. During the drive Huge quantities of contraband substances including Brown Sugar, Chars, Fukki, Heroin worth 03.5 Crore have also been recovered from these Peddlers.
