KATHUA, MARCH 10: Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Pandey, reviewed the physical and financial progress of development departments under District Capex Budget 2022-23 at the Conference Hall of the DC office complex today.During the review, the DC went through each sector and received feedback regarding the present status of developmental as well as non-construction works. The DC directed the concerned executing agencies to prioritise the completion of pending projects within stipulated timelines.The DC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure the financial completion of physically completed works and completion of ongoing works within set timelines, while taking a review of the new works taken up under this year district and UT CAPEX, BDC, DDC and PRI grants.Additionally, the DC requested all the concerned officers and executing agencies to furnish reports regarding progress achieved on a daily basis for monitoring and follow-up.The DC emphasised that the role of all the departments is important and that all development projects taken up under CAPEX require concerted efforts from the concerned departments and special attention at the ground level by way of timely completion of target works.The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Chief Education Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Executive Engineers, CAO, CAHO, CEO Kathua, EOs of MC Billawar and Hiranagar and other concerned officers of the district.
