SAMBA, MARCH 24: An awareness event was held today at District Hospital Samba to mark World TB Day. Chief Medical Officer, Dr Vidhi Bhatial emphasised the importance of screening and sampling all suspected cases to make District Samba TB-free.Medical Superintendent Dr Mohinder praised the efforts of medical staff for their prompt tracking and treatment of TB patients in the district.DHO, Dr Anuja provided information about the role and responsibilities of Nikshay Mitras. Nodal Officer Dr Sandeep Rangroo also urged those present to raise awareness about TB in their homes and neighbourhoods.Additionally, 10 TB patients were given Nikshay Poshan, which includes millets, cereals, oil, multivitamins and milk by Nikshay Mitras. The Nikshay Mitras attending the event included DIO, Dr Anju, Dr Sandeep, Dr Chander Reshmi and others.
