RSETI Kishtwar concludes ‘Travel and Tourist Guide’ training program for youth

KISHTWAR, APRIL 04: The Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Kishtwar concluded a “Travel and Tourist Guide” training program for youth in collaboration with the District Administration under the SANKALP Scheme. The event was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, who interacted with trainees and encouraged them to promote tourism.The program provided a comprehensive understanding of the region’s history, culture and tourist attractions. Trainees were taken on a field trip to Jai Valley Bhaderwah for hands-on experience.District Commissioner emphasised the role of tourism in economic development and motivated trainees to act as ambassadors for the region’s tourism industry. The DC encouraged trainees to leverage social media by creating video vlogs and other content showcasing the district’s tourist attractions.Dr Yadav recognised the potential of social media in attracting a wider audience and promoting the district’s tourism industry globally. Trainees were exhorted to take responsibility and implement lessons learned during the training program for sustainable community development.Additional District Commissioner (ADC) Kishtwar Inderjeet Singh, Director RSETI Sumit Gupta and LDM Kishtwar Pankaj Bhadani also attended.
