2 female drug peddlers arrested in Baramulla: Police

Baramulla,05-Apr; In a continuing effort to combat the drug trade in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police on Wednesday arrested two female drug peddlers, and seized 113 grams of a substance similar to Charas.In a statement issued, the police spokesperson said that Police under the supervision of Shokat Ali-JKPS, SDPO Uri assisted by DySP Prob. Kubra Nazir, SHO PS Boniyar arrested 2 female Drug Peddlers.The accused were identified as Fahmeeda resident of Limber & Nazira Begum resident of Bimyat, during naka checking at Chellan Boniyar who were coming from Bimyar towards Chellan and upon seeing the naka party tried to flee from the spot but were apprehended tactfully. During their personal search 113 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately.
