KATHUA, APRIL 27: As part of the ongoing Special Summary Revision 2023, the District Election Office Kathua intensified Voter Sensitization Drives as part of its voter literacy programme under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Programme.The election cell has planned activities at grassroots level by roping in school and colleges along with the teams comprising ARO, AERO, BLOs, supervisory staff to educate the prospective voters about the importance of voting and their role in the electoral process, besides highlighting the importance of voter participation in a democracy and educating the eligible voters about their registration in the electoral roll.Besides extensive door to door campaigns in all ACs by respective BLOs, SVEEP Van is visiting Panchayat to Panchayat to educate masses about the ongoing Special Summary Revision Exercise and how a common citizen can update their details or enroll for fresh registration as a new voter.
