Management System Portal launched for 3 Temple Shrines of Samba District

SAMBA, APRIL 27: In a significant step towards use of modern technology for enforcing transparency and efficiency, District Administration Samba, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta, today launched the Temple Management System portal for three temples of the district, namely Baba Shivo Goran Ji, Narsingh Dham Mandir and Baba Chambliyal.It is pertinent to mention here that the Deputy Commissioner or her representatives are the chairpersons of the respective management committees of all these temples constituted with the consent of local people. These Committees also have local people as members who have religious knowledge. At the recently held joint meeting of management committees, it was decided to shift to digital operations for transparency and efficiency so that the offerings made by devotees can be used to improve facilities for pilgrims and also for undertaking developmental and welfare measures.The online portal aims to streamline the management of temple inventory records, devotee Seva, stock entry, employee attendance, staff registration, and account management. The system will bring transparency and efficiency in the functioning of the temples.Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Samba Mrs. Anuradha Gupta emphasized the importance of adopting digital technologies to improve the functioning of temples. She said that the online portal will help in maintaining records and managing operations in an efficient and transparent manner.The initiative taken by the District Administration Samba is commendable and will go a long way in providing better services to the devotees. The online portal will also aid in the effective management of temple resources and contribute towards the development of shrines.
