Srinagar, 02-May,: The Mayor of Srinagar, Junaid Mattu, and former Deputy Mayor Sheikh Imran have alleged manhandling by NC workers in Srinagar.According to CNS, the former Deputy Mayor Sheikh Imran tweeted, “I was visiting BaghiRoop singh — Miskeen Bagh when some NC goons along with a few ladies, Sara Boba and others, hurled abuses and fought with my workers. We are under siege. If these goons are not arrested and jailed, then God be with non-dynastic politicians.”In support, Mayor Mattu tweeted, “I unequivocally condemn violence, but let the NC tribe know that we can play this game too if they’re up for it. The reciprocation of such attacks in Srinagar will be decisive and far beyond their comprehension.”The tweets were sent in the aftermath of an incident in which political workers from the National Conference (NC) allegedly attacked Sheikh Imran.
