New Delhi, 05-May: After serving the planning and marketing division of department of horticulture J&K for about 36 years Mr Abdul Majeed attained superannuation on 4th of May. He was given given warm and emotional send off by the senior officers, employees and a number of growers from J&K who were present inthe Kisan house, Shalimar Bagh New Delhi during the function. The officers, employees and the visiting growers recalled his unparalleled services to the department and applauded him for the same.Among others who attended the programme and spoke about Majeed saab’s contribution, were deputy director Manzoor Ahmad, Area marketing officer Mohmmad Shafi Rather and assistant grading officer Mrs Prerna Suri._ Hailing from North Kashmir’s Bandipora district Majeed had joined his services as junior assistant in 1987.
