DIG JSK Range Chairs Security Review Meeting at DPL Jammu Ahead of SANJY 2026

Jammu, July 2, 2026:Deputy Inspector General of Police, JSK Range, Shri Shridhar Patil, IPS, chaired a comprehensive security review meeting at the District Police Lines (DPL), Jammu, to assess preparedness and strengthen coordination among all security agencies deployed for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2026.The meeting was attended by DIG CRPF, SSP Jammu Shri Joginder Singh, officers of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Zonal SPs, Sector Officers, and other police officers associated with the security arrangements.During the meeting, SSP Jammu gave a detailed briefing on the security plan, deployment pattern, area responsibilities, convoy management, and coordination mechanisms in place to ensure the safe and smooth conduct of the Yatra.Addressing the officers, DIG JSK Range stressed the importance of seamless coordination, high alertness, effective communication, and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). He directed all officers to remain vigilant, conduct regular area domination and checking operations, and respond swiftly to any contingency.The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the commitment of Jammu Police and all security forces to provide a secure and peaceful environment for the pilgrims undertaking the holy Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
