Beginning a new chapter, India’s former Solicitor General, senior advocate Harish Salve, married a London-based artist on Wednesday. The 65-year-old lawyer divorced his wife for 38 years Meenakshi Salve in June this year.Harish Salve, who lives in North London, married Caroline Brossard (56) in a church. Reports suggest that the wedding was attended by only 15 guests, as per the rule in London.
While Brossard looked elegant and beautiful in a white wedding gown, Salve donned a three-piece suit for the ceremony.As per reports, the couple got married after seeing each other for around a year. They had first met at an art event.
Brossard grew up in the United Kingdom and has an 18-year old daughter. She has a Masters in Fine Arts degree from Chelsea School of Arts, UAL. Salve has two daughters – Saanya and Sakshi – with his former wife Meenakshi.
One of the busiest lawyers during the lockdown, Harish Salve appeared before the Supreme Court in some high-profile matters, including the one in which he represented the Facebook vice president Ajit Mohan in a case against the Delhi Legislative Assembly. He argued in these matters through video conferencing from London.
