Srinagar,23-Apr; A massive anti-encroachment drive was launched by a team of revenue officials headed by Tehsildar Kokernag at Kakavsar Wandevalgam where half-century old encroachments were removed.To prevent habitation from expanding towards sinkhole and to open the pathways for the movement of locals and for grazing of animals, the state/kahcharai land was freed from all encumbrances.It’s pertinent to mention here that Kakavsar is the site where sinkhole was formed in February this year.Meanwhile In phase II, the encumbrances on other side of sinkhole shall also be removed.(CNS)
