JAMMU: Airports Authority of India (AAI), Jammu organises Aviation Safety Awareness Week every year in the last week of November. This is one of the activities which AAI conducts to promote safety throughout the organization.Likewise previous years this year also various activities planned to be organized under Aviation Safety Awareness Week from November 23 to 27, 2020 at Jammu Airport.On the day of inauguration a brief training on ‘Usage of Fire Extinguishers’ was given by AAI at Civil Airport to the employees and stakeholdDr. P. R. Beuria, Airport Director, Jammu emphasized upon Aviation safety and advised all present to follow the safety guidelines and norms in letter and spirit.All departmental Heads of AAI, Airlines, Commandant, CISF were present during the occasion.Fire fighting exercise was carried out with active participation of all the stakeholders.
