Altaf Salim Khan elected President PCWF Uri

    Kupwara,25-Dec; In a significant development, Pahari Culture and Welfare Forum (PCWF) on Saturday extended their support to noted businessman of north Kashmir Altaf salim khan for the presidential post of the PCWF at a meet held at Guest House bandi in uri area of North kahmir’s Kupwara district,The meeting was chaired by Altaf salim khan and Muneer Magral who were unanimously elected President and General Secretary of the Pahari Cultural and Welfare Forum Uri’s Ad-hoc Body.The newly elected President said that he has the motive to alleviate the problems being faced by the Pahari speaking people of District and will work hard till all their genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities for their redressal on merit .He impressed upon the members to spread awareness and motivate Pahari community to get connected with various welfare and development schemes being run in J&K aimed at its holistic and equitable development.The members expressed their confidence on the stewardship of Khan and said that they will not leave any stone unturned to ensure victory and support to President.Khan and Magral while speaking on the occasion said. “Pahari speaking people of Kupwara, are facing numerous difficulties in the issuance of certificates.Saying that Village level committees would boost the movement and ensure transparency of issuance of certificates.They appealed to the people of the community to get united to launch a struggle under an umbrella organisation of the Jammu Kashmir Pahari Cultural and Welfare Forum .
