Kupwara, 22-DEC; Army in kalaroos area of north kashmir’s Kupwara district alerted and assisted villagers in fire fighting incident in the area.On early hours of Wednesday, residential house belonging to Mohd Ibrahim Dedad son of Samasdin Dedad, at Thaiyan Gujran caught fire and was raging dangerously.The sentry at Kalaroos COB noticed this and a Rescue Team was immediately rushed to the spot with fire extinguishers. Villagers were alerted by the Army and Fire Engine Vehicle at Kalaroos was also informed.As the fire was very intense and only few locals could gather being early hours of morning, Army team along with Fire brigade vehicle defused the fire but couldn’t recover any households. By the time fire got defused most of the house was gutted in fire. There was no loss of life.Meanwhile, Army has also provided rations and some essentials to the affected family.(CNS)
