COVID: J&K RSS arranges 106 oxygen concentrators for needy across UT

As the country fights the second wave of Corona amid shortage of oxygen and medical supplies, the Jammu and Kashmir unit of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has arranged for 106 oxygen concentrators for its supply on priority in parts of the Union Territory.According to a RSS leader here, “On the lines of last year, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has yet again engaged in the service to help COVID patients across Jammu and Kashmir to fight the second wave of the pandemic.”He said that the J&K unit of RSS has arranged 106 new oxygen concentrators for the treatment of corona patients and they are being supplied to all the districts depending upon requirement.RSS Prant Sah Sanghchalak Dr Gautam Mangi, Prant Karyawah Dr Vikrant Sharma and Prant Sah Karyawah Krishna Trakru, who are in the process of supplying Oxygen concentrators to various districts through Sangh and Seva Bharati from Keshav Bhawan Headquarters on Friday said that Sangh along with other allied organizations and Seva Bharati, are engaged in the activities to fight against second wave of the COVID.“Keeping in view the prevailing situation, oxygen concentrators have been arranged for infected people,” said Dr Mengi adding that the RSS volunteers in all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir have also been engaged in relief distribution and other services to reach out COVID patients.“The RSS volunteers are taking care of all people suffering from the pandemic,” he said adding that apart from the treatment, food is also being arranged for people in home isolation and various helping activities are also going on in different areas through Seva Bharat
