The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir bench comprising of Acting Chief Justice Mr Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Sanjay Dhar today heard the review petitions in the much famous Roshni land case and posted these cases for 22 December 2020.At the very outset the Advocate General of J&K union territory Mr DC Raina assisted by Mr Aseem Sawhney Addl. Advocate General submitted about 21 review petitions have been filed so far, but the registry has listed only 11 review petitions including the review petition filed by the union territory government and rest of the review petitions are also required to be listed along with. Senior advocate Z A Shah, Mr Jehangir Ganai senior advocate, Mr Sunil Sethi senior advocate, Mr Gagan Basotra Sr Adv, Mr Rohit Kohli senior advocate and a battery of lawyers appeared for the review petitioners,Ms Monica Kohli appeared for the CBI And Mr Aseem Sawhney Addl. Advocate General appeared for the UT government and assured that copies of review petitions will be provided to CBI counsel. He also mentioned that certain petitions are lying inThese cases have been now been listed on 22 December 2020 and the registry has been directed to list all the review petitions which are in order on the next date. The bench directed that all matters which are filed upto 21.12.2020 be listed on 22nd Dec. 2020 for final hearing.
