Baramulla,20-Apr; To sensitize people about the importance of health and well being and to bring varied health facilities at the door steps of the public, a Mega Health Mela was held at Uri on Wednesday.The Health Mela was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla Dr. Bupinder Kumar along with sdm uri harvinder sing ,dho baramulla ,sdpo uri,bmo uri,tehsildar uri. Chaiman munsipal commite uri.bdo uri .bdc uri,bdc paranpeela.Mela turned out to be highly successful as Team of Doctors, Pharmacists, Field Staff Workers, and others Paramedics at the Mela provided free consultations to people.All Diagnostic tests and Medicines were offered free of cost in the Mela and awareness was given to public about NCD, RBSK, Yoga, Drug De-addiction, RTI, Cancer Screening and other Health related Schemes.As per sources, total Registration were 1470, 471 Digital health I’d and 127Pmjay Golden Cards were generated.On the occasion People were examined by doctors and specialists Viz., Cataract, Hypertension, Diabetic, ANC Oral Health, Ayush OPD and teleconsultation.During the Mela, Consultation and Diagnostic services were provided to more than 10,00 people.Screening of 127 Children was performed by the RBSK Teams.On the spot treatment was also given and free medicines were provided to the needy children.
