POONCH: Continuing with its effort to mitigate effects of COVID-19 in the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch district, Indian Army organised a lecture on “Adherence to COVID-19 Preventive Norms” at Surankote.In order to prevent spread of COVID 19, free pamphlets, masks and gloves were distributed amongst the participants.The locals were educated to fight COVID-19 by promoting social distancing. The Army Medical officer gave valuable information about Corona Virus and shared information on common symptoms of the virus and advised people to stay home and move only on inescapable requirements.Such an Endeavour by India Army towards spreading awareness on COVID-19 was deeply appreciated by the locals and civil administration.
