Kulgam engineer dies of cardiac arrest in Saudi Arabia Family appeals govt to bring back his body

Srinagar, 28-Mar: A 26-year-old civil engineer from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district died of cardiac arrest in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.Sources told that Mustakeen Ahmad Pandit, son of Nazir Ahmad Pandit, resident of Yaripora area in Kulgam was working with Al Yamama Company, Riyadh for last two years.On Sunday he suffered some serious health complications and was immediately shifted to a local hospital at Al Wajh Saudi Arabia, where he reportedly died due to cardiac arrest.”Mustakeen was an engineer there and he called his family last time on 26th March at around 10:30 PM. Yesterday we came to know about this shocking news through his friend that he has died due to cardiac arrest,” they said.Meanwhile, family has urged Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha to pursue this matter with the Ministry of External Affairs in airlifting the mortal remains of deceased back to Kashmir from Saudi Arabia for the last rites at his ancestral village.
