Srinagar, Apr 9: After recent attacks in South Kashmir areas by militants targeting non-local labourers, the mobile internet has been shut in parts of South Kashmir during the night.The mobile internet has been shut down in Tehsil Pulwama, Litter, Awantipora in Pulwama district and Imam Sahib and Zainapora areas of Shopian district and may be shut in many other areas in the next few days.So far, mobile internet went off this evening in these areas and an official said that it will be restored in the morning.The mobile internet is one among the many measures taken by the administration to prevent target attacks.Security forces as part of these measures are conducting night patrolling to prevent the attacks.
