Srinagar, 19-Jan: Reacting over PDP Chief, Mehbooba Mufti’s statement that various political leaders, who had deserted PDP earlier, are now requesting for re-induction into the party fold, Former MLC & Peoples Conference leader Yasir Reshi Wednesday rubbished the PDP chief’s claim as totally baseless, concocted and based on fancy casserole.Talking to reporters here in Srinagar, Reshi said, “The claims of Mehbooba are totally based on falsehood. If anyone is requesting him for re-induction into PDP, Mehbooba should name some. I affirm that she has been lying as usual she has been in past to the Kashmiri’s.”“Kashmir and Kashmiri’s have been left devastated and isolated only because of her moves whether it be the BJP coalition or her controversial 2016 statements . She is utilising the dirty and tricky politics, by claiming ‘rebels requesting her a re-induction,” he said.“Back in the time PDP thrived not because of Mehbooba but because of the collective efforts of diversified people and other hardworking workers from across Kashmir. Whether it be the support of Nizamuddin Bhat and Fayaz Mir when she fought Parliamentary elections from North Kashmir or diligent election campaigning. PDP was a party owned and managed by diversified people not by the Mufti’s.”“Its her wrong conception that people left her on the cues and inklings from other interests. But the fact is that the sole responsible for the dismantling and disbanding of PDP is Mehbooba herself as she went on to induce people from her family who literally didn’t know ABC of politics. Thus changing the characters of a people’s party into a dynastic party,” Reshi said.He reiterated that Mehbooba is focused on becoming a ‘big leader’ of Kashmir and Kashmiri’s by putting out claims based on falsehood, delusion, fallacy, distortion and misinformation, adding that “But the matter of fact is that she has never been loyal to either in past and she won’t be in future.”He added that New Delhi should not extend their support to the politicians, who are always busy in befooling common people of Kashmir for their own pity interests.“I consider that it is just another coin in her propagandist policies to befool people. Hence, I rebut and reject her total claims of any rebels joining her back,” Reshi added.(CNS)
