Budgam,10-Dec; As per the directions, District Legal Services Authority Budgam conducted Legal awareness Programme under NALSA-NCW collaborative Project on “Empowerment of Women through Legal Awareness” in collaboration with National Commission for Women (NCW) at Town Hall Budgam today on Friday.The programme was attended by Adv. Mr. Feroz Ahmad Khan, Ms.Saima Shah (Social Worker NCW Distt.Budgam), Ms.Neelofar (Social Worker NCW Distt.Budgam), Secretary District Legal Services Authority Budgam Ms Fozia Paul. Speaking on the occasion Secretary DLSA, Budgam said that DLSA Budgam is always available for the Women in distress and the Authority is working for the welfare of the Women in distress, DLSA Budgam is providing Legal Aid to many Women on daily basis, She also apprised them about their basic rights and schemes available for them in legal institutions as well as in other line departments. Social Distancing was maintained and SOPs of Covid-19 were also followed.(CNS)
