Srinagar, 24- Mar: While taking a Serious Note of Poor Sanitation, Mismanagement and Losing Control over Sub ordinates, Director Urban Locals Bodies Kashmir has Sought Explanation from Executive officer Municipal Committee Kunzer Bashir Ahmad Shah and has directed to stop the Salary of Sanitary Supervisor with immediate effect.According to Current News Service, Director Locals Bodies Kashmir Mathoora Masoom during her Visit to Municipal Committee Kunzer observed that the status of Sanitation of Kunzer town is extremely poor and it has also been witnessed that the waste/ garbage was being burnt openly in the town, which is violation of the Solid Waste Management Rules and instructions.”The condition of sanitation in the town indicates that the concerned staff of MC Kunzer are not performing their duties properly and are taking their assigned jobs lightly which is unbecoming of a public servant and tantamount to dereliction of duties”, reads the explanation.Explanation reads that Executive officer has failed to perform his duties properly and apparently has lost his control over the subordinates, which lead to the abysmal performance of the employees.Meanwhile Executive officer Bashir Ahmad Shah has been directed to explain his position within three days failing which action as warranted rules shall be initiated against him without further notice.The salary of concerned Sanitary Supervisor responsible has been also been withheld with immediate effect till further orders.(CNS)
