OPD in SSH to start from Monday with 25 patients per Speciality A meeting was held under the chairpersonship of Dr. Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal Govt. Medical College and Associated Hospitals to review the functioning of Super Speciality Hospital here on Saturday.After a threadbare discussion with HODs and administration, it was decided that the OPD services shall start functioning in SSH from Monday i.e. 7.06.2021. Patients can book their appointment telephonically on all working days. However, the total number of appointments per Speciality per day has been capped at 25.It was also decided in the meeting to start routine OT services from 10.06.2021 with capping of 50 % per discipline. During the meeting, it was decided to shift OT staff from Urology and CTVS deployed for Covid-19 duties in MCH Gandhinagar back to SSH Jammu for smooth functioning of OT’s.To combat the probable 3rd wave of COVID-19, it was decided to upgrade the gas pipeline, so that the need and demand of the same can be accessed and a gas plant of a proper capacity can be installed for meeting the demands.In addition to this, the PMC took a review of other ongoing projects in SSH like State Cancer Institute, Kidney Transplant project etc. Instructions regarding the projects were given to the concerned.The meeting was attended by A.K.
