Srinagar,20-May;Serious allegations have been levelled against Patwari stationed in Safapora constituency of central kashmir’s Ganderbal district while demanding legal action, locals have sought his removal also.According to a citizen belonging to Safapora Ganderbal submitted a written memorandum to the Deputy District Development Commissioner against the Patwari.In the memorandum, the citizen accused Patwari of forcing him to visit his residence apart from visiting the Tehsil office for two months in order to get the map selection.According to the citizen’s petition, the citizen was compelled to pay the amount of RS 3000 as official termed it as the expenses of other officers of the administration. Despite wandering around the Tehsil office, the said citizen is yet to get his map from the official.Meanwhile, Deputy Sarpanch Pahlipora Tariq Ahmed Butt informed the Tehsildar about the activities of the said Patwari.Confirming the matter, Tehsildar Lar Ganderbal Javed Ahmed Zargar told that a representative delegation of Pahlipora and Safapora met him at the Tehsil office today and he assured the delegation that an investigation will be carried out against the said Patwari The delegation while seeking immediate action against the Patwari identified as Ghulam Hassan Sheikh from Safapora has also demanded immediate removal and action against official as per law.Pertinently, this issue has been earlier raised with Deputy District Development Commissioner Farooq Ahmed Baba and other responsible officers of the district.(CNS
