Srinagar, 21-Apr: A top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and one other militant were killed in an encounter in Baramulla district. Three soldier and civilian were injured in the initial phase of encounter, police said. “In the initial exchange of fire, 03 soldiers & a civilian received minor injuries. Operation in progress. Further details will follow,” police had said in a tweet. Earlier, a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Malwah area. As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an encounter.(CNS)
