Director General, J&K IMPARD, Saurabh Bhagat today presided over valedictory function of week long Residential Evaluatory Training Course for JKAS Probationary Officers of Batch 2019 at IMPARD, Main Campus, here. In his valedictory address the DG IMPARD impressed upon the participating officers to work hard and humbly for the development of people.Sharing his personal field experiences with the probationers, Saurabh Bhagat urged upon officer trainees never to live in isolation, remain interconnected with colleagues, friends and relatives and set a higher purpose in their service career to serve the common people down to the poorest among the poor. He impressed upon them to keep hold of their principles and morals.Saurabh Bhagat, emphasized upon the JKAS Probationers that when they go to the field after completing their training/probation they should go with the mind-set that they mean to bring change for improvement in the governance system , and to make a difference.Suarabh Baghat informed that JKIMPARD has a responsibility to train 6000 Junior and Senior Assistants amongst whom 500 are joining by this week end. This is apart from Demand Driven, Sponsored, Long – and – Short duration training programmes, and other training activities.Saurabh Bhagat said that Officers Club with all facilities like IAS Club will be established in IMPARD campuses both at Jammu & Srinagar in due course of time.The Officer Trainees were evaluated on different parameters which included physical fitness, presentation skills, subject knowledge, participation in various activities-curricular as well as extra- curricular, written examination and one –to – one interaction with the DG. With this the Professional Training (Phase-1 & Phase-11) of 266 JKAS officers of Batch 2019 got completed. This was the First Training Programme under New Training Policy of J&K.Later on Best Trainee awards were given to Sahir Majid and Vernika Raj by the Director General.On the occasion Director Trainings, Deputy Director Kashmir, Course coordinators and Faculty Members were present.
