Srinagar,07-Jan; The district magistrate of Anantnag in south Kashmir seized Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) properties on Saturday on the recommendation of the State Investigation agency.As per official reports, (SIA) team today reached Sirhama area & attached a double-storied old house of late. Sanaullah Mir resident of Saedbal Near Jamia Masjid Sirgufwara , under survey No. 1412 along with 7 Marla of land.Ghulam Mohiuddin Ganai son of Muhammad Ramzan resident of Sirhama was currently residing in the property..The team also reached Viddy Srigufwara and attached land measuring 2 kanal and 7 Marla under survey no.238.Later, the SIA team attached 56 kanals of Jamaat-e-Islami land registered in the name of Darsgah Islami Arwani located in the area. These properties have been seized in connection with an investigation by SIA under Section 8 of UA (P) Act in Case FR No: 17/2019 U/S 10,11, 13 UA (P) Act of P/S Batamaloo.
