New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) paid tribute to Corona Warriors on Monday. An Air Warrior skydived with a banner reading “Tribute to Corona Warriors”.”#TheGreatConjunction. The Earth, The Sky and an #AirWarrior,” the IAF tweeted on Tuesday morning while sharing pictures of the tribute.
The pictures of the IAF officer skydiving with the banner thanking COVID Warriors are doing rounds on social media, with netizens thanking both COVID Warriors and Air Warriors for serving the nation.
One user said, “Few are exceptional and do things being out of the crowd. God bless the Air Warriors. Jai Hind.” Another wrote, “Salute our heros.”A third user commented, “Healthcare workers , daily wage workers .. amazing .. only reason we’ve been able to get through this year . Salute !” Yet another added, “Indian Air Force thanks the COVID warriors. We thank you in return IAF for keeping the borders and skies safe. :)”
The armed forces had paid tribute to Corona Warriors in May also. Indian Army bands had performed outside a government hospital in Panchkula, while an Indian Navy chopper had showered flower petals on a hospital in Panaji. The Indian Air Force had flown jets over Rajpath for all frontline workers fighting COVID-19.
