India International Trade Fair concludes Gratitude to everyone, who worked day and night for this event: Suhaib Munshi

Srinagar,27-Nov: India International Trade fair which started on November 14 concluded on 27th of November here at Pragati Maidan.The JK pavilion was earlier inaugurated by Director Handicraft and Handloom Kashmir Mr. Mehmood Ahmad Shah and Director Handicrafts and Handloom Jammu Dr.Vikas gupta.UT of J&K had erected 65 stalls in the J&K Pavilion at the Trade Fair to promote Handicrafts and Handloom of both the regions. Apart from that various departments of UT have also participated in the Fair. The main attraction of the day was mesmerizing cultural bonanza presented by the artists of Jammu and Kashmir Day on 23rd November. The programme depicted the richness of diverse cultural ethos of J&K which attracted huge applause from the audience.Thousands of people thronged the J&K pavilion where stall holders displayed their commodities and showcased their talent and skill.“The pavilion attracted around 3.5 lakh people during the 14 day event in which almost all the products of the Jammu and Kashmir including Handicrafts and Handloom were put on display and sale. Live demonstration of Arts and Crafts was also organized at the pavilion by the Directorate of Handicrafts”, Jammu Kashmir Handicrafts Employees Union President Suhaib Munshi said .Earlier On the occasion of JK day, the visitors cherished the cultural feast by JK Handicrafts and Handloom Department at Pragati MaidanMeanwhile, Suhaib munshi has given a heartfelt vote of thanks to Director Handicrafts and handloom Kashmir Mr. Mehmood Ahmad Shah and Director of Handicrafts and Handloom, Jammu Dr.vikas Gupta for conducting a successful trade fair event at Pragati Maidan .In a statement issued, besides directors Suhaib has expressed his gratitude towards Mr. Mukbil Latief Assistant Director, Sr. Designer Mr. Nissar Ahmad bhat , Mr. Wajahat Rasool who have worked day and night to make JK Pavillion one of the most beautiful pavillion in the said event.(CNS)
