J&K Youth Welfare Forum “Ray of Hope” Organised Cycling Race Competition under Fit India initiative

JKYWF Ray of Hope a Union Territory based Non Governmental Organization working for the betterment of Youth of UT of J&K organised a *Cycling Competition* under Fit India Initiative. The event was flagged off from SDM Office Lolab by *Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Bhat SDM Lolab, Chairman JKYWF Mr Aijaz Ah Bhat & DSP Lolab Mr Aijaz Ah Naik* which concluded back at SDM office sogam after taking a turn at Gangbugh lolab . This initiative has been conducted in Collaboration with SDM Sogam, SBI Sogam , SDH Sogam, Education Department , only 30 participants were allowed to participate in the drive. It is pertinent to mention here that JKYWF has been continuously working on different plateforms aimed for the welfare of the youth of UT in particular and for masses in general .The organization has held awareness camps since Jan 2021 be it Environment Cleanliness Forest cleanliness , drugs de-addiction , Covid awareness, or awareness regarding Vaccination notwithstanding this forum has been conducting marriages of Poor and Orphan girls, provided Food kits to Needy families, sports related events tournaments, Education seminars, providing oxygen support to Covid Positive patients or to those who are in need.Chairman Mr. Aijaz Bhat said that such exercises are need of hour and such initiatives have been held for the Youth so that they may feel relaxed and *say no to Drugs and Depression*. He said said that Drugs and Depression is the main cause of Suicide so our prime objective is to save future of our youth by organising such activities. Our organization along with Administration has shown practically today to society that we have zero tolerance regarding drug abuse and we have to work on different fronts to curb the menace and stop the source of origin from flourishing. Chairman Mr Aijaz Bhat thanked SDM Lolab for his efforts in making this event successful through active Collaboration and positive support. Mr Bhat also thanked SBI Branch sogam for providing refreshment to all participants of the cycling drive. He also thanks BMO SDH Sogam, Dysp sogam Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Naik, SHO sogam ,Mr. Malik Naseer, Zahoor Ah Sheikh, Ab Majeed Shaheen, Khan Aatif Abdullah Teacher from zone Sogam for the active support and participating in the cycling drive practically and making the event cent per cent successful. SDM Sogam while praising the efforts of J&K Youth Welfare Forum”Ray of Hope” Said such initiatives are need of hour and more events will be held in coming days with regard to different issues faced by the society.
