13 houses, 10 shops gutted in Anantnag fire mishap

Anantnag,CNS,30-Dec: At least thirteen residential houses and ten shops were gutted in a fire incident on intervening Thursday and Friday night in Dangerlora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.As per reports fire broke out in a residential house which engulfed other nearby houses in no time.Soon after fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the fire was contained, however not before the blaze had caused severe damage to 13 residential houses along with 10 shops.An official from Fire and Emergency Services Department said that at least 200 houses were saved by the “timely” action in the very densely populated area of the south Kashmir district. He said that structures damaged belong to Gh Rasool Malik son of late Mohammed Sultan, Shabir Ahmad Misgar son of Ab Ahad Misgar, Reyaz Ahmad son of Mohammed Yousf Zargar, Tasaduq Ahmad Kotwal son of Gh Ahmad, Ubaid Ahmad Sangtrash son of Ab Gani, Bilal Ahmad son of Nazir Ahmad, Aijaz Ahmad Kotwal son of M. Abdullah and Ali Mohammed thoker son of Habibullah thoker and others all resident of Dangerpora AnantnagMeanwhile, police has registered a case into the incident and investigations initiated
