Srinagar,28-Feb; Two militants and a solider have been killed in the ongoing encounter in Awantipora area of Pulwama district, taking the toll to 3 on Tuesday.In a tweet, Kashmir zone police said one more militant has been killed while search operation was going on. “01 more #terrorist killed (Total 02). Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition recovered. Search going on. Further details shall follow,” police tweeted.The encounter had started during the night in Padgampora area of Awantipora. Police said that one of the slain militants identified as Aqib Mushtaqof Pulwama (A Category) of TRF was involved in the killing of Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma in Pulwama. The other militant was identified as Ajaz Ahmad Bhat( C-Category) Son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat resident of Syedabad, Pastana Tral,One of the injured army soldier succumbed to his injuries while the other injured is undergoing treatment at 92 base hospital.
