Bandipora , July 16: A 3-year-old child was attacked by a leopard on late Thursday evening outside his house leaving him critically injured in North Kashmir’s Bandipora village.Sources privy to said that the incident occurred at Dodhwan SK Bala area of Sumbal during the late evening hours.Locals told Current News Service that a 3-year old child identified as Arhan Shabir Rather had come out from his house, when a leopard attacked him.Meanwhile the cries of the child attracted the attention of people and they immediately chased away the leopard but till then the child was injured critically.
After the incident, the child was shifted to local hospital where doctors referred him to SMHS hospital Srinagar for advanced condition keeping in view his deteriorated condition.
