Admin working tirelessly for people’s welfare in J&K: Advisor Khan Meets 114 deputations, individuals during weekly public hearing at Church Lane Srinagar

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 01: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan today reiterated that the J&K administration is working tirelessly at all levels for the collective welfare of the people of the region.
The Advisor was interacting with the deputations and individuals during the weekly public hearing programme, here at LG’s Grievance Cell, Church Lane.
As many as 114 deputations and individuals hailing from different parts of J&K put forth their demands and grievances before the Advisor and sought his intervention for early redress of their issues.
A deputation of post and under graduate students from SKIMS JVC sought resumption of training at the SKIMS and GMC College.
Similarly, deputations from Batamaloo area of Srinagar and Rajouri areas demanded macadamization of roads in their respective areas.
Another deputation of Waqf employees raised the demand of the release of seventh pay commission and arrears in their favour.
Likewise, a deputation from Shopian demanded a playing field in their area.
A deputation from Lal Nagar Chanapora area of Srinagar sought macadamization of road in their area.
Another deputation from Budgam area demanded desiltation and repairing of rivulet for irrigation purpose of their land.
Several other individuals and deputations from Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara, Rafiabad, Srinagar, Sopore, Tral, Kulgam, Anantnag, Pampore, Pulwama, and other areas also met the Advisor and registered their issues and grievances.
Advisor Khan assured the visiting individuals and deputations that all their genuine issues would be examined for early redress.
He also issued on the spot directions to the concerned officers to take cognizance of the issues pertaining to their departments.
